This Luxury Satin Twill Pure Silk Scarf case has been individually hand crafted using selected matched real burr wood veneers and artisan construction techniques, to retain the definition and colour hues from the original photographic plates and images, 15 layers of hand applied lacquers and hours of hand polishing are used to achieve a near perfect rendition of these Historic Golfing references.
Renowned as one of the most romantic symbols of Scotland the Thistle stands tall with its array of vivid colours and tones, it can be seen all over the Scottish landscape from the river bearing lowlands to the purple clad rugged hills and mountains. Nearly every golf course in Scotland will have nestling in its rough one of the many varieties of Thistle growing wild.
Based on the Thistles natural beauty and composition with its many wide ranging forms, Historic Scottish Golf commissioned Valentina Pysander (Moscow Academy of Art) to create a striking colour based work that showed the elegance and grace of the National Flower of Scotland.
Using centuries old traditional printing techniques, eleven perfectly balanced colours have been individually layered and applied by hand to this SATIN TWILL PURE SILK SCARF to create this unique work of art. Each side of the scarf’s hem has been meticulously hand sewn.
This wonderful presentation case can be used as a ladies heirloom quality ‘keep sake’ box.
